1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Podernize. By creating an account, using the mobile app, opening a public web page, uploading content, generating audio, sharing links, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Podernize. If you use Podernize on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Podernize is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. You may not use Podernize if you are under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Podernize only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity that occurs through your account. Keep your credentials secure and contact us promptly at support@podernize.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. The Podernize service
Podernize helps users turn written material, including PDFs and research notes, into podcast-style episodes and series for listening, organizing, and sharing. The service may include account profiles, public discovery, playback, saved libraries, queues, direct sharing, moderation tools, and AI-assisted generation.
Podernize may change, pause, limit, or discontinue features at any time, including free quotas, generation limits, model availability, public sharing, or subscription features.
4. Your content and license to Podernize
You are responsible for documents, text, audio, images, metadata, profile information, reports, comments, and other materials you upload, create, or share through Podernize. You must have the rights needed to upload, transform, generate from, publish, and share that material.
You keep ownership of your content. You grant Podernize a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transcode, generate, display, distribute, and otherwise use your content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support the service. For content you make public, this license includes making that content available through public links, feeds, profiles, previews, and in-app discovery.
5. AI-generated output
Podernize uses automated systems and third-party AI services to generate podcast-style audio, summaries, reports, episode metadata, and related materials. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, duplicative, or unsuitable for your intended use.
You are responsible for reviewing generated output before relying on it, publishing it, sharing it, or using it for school, work, research, legal, medical, financial, or other important decisions. Podernize is not a professional-advice service.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Podernize to upload, generate, publish, or share content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, infringing, deceptive, malicious, or unsafe. You may not reverse engineer the service, interfere with its security, scrape it at scale, bypass quotas or paywalls, misuse another person's account, or use Podernize to violate the rights of others.
You may not upload private, confidential, regulated, or sensitive third-party information unless you have permission and a lawful basis to process it through Podernize.
7. Public sharing and moderation
Public episodes, series, profiles, and share links may be visible to other users and to people outside the app. Only make content public when you intend it to be public and have the rights required to share it.
Users may report profiles, episodes, series, and links. Podernize may remove, restrict, de-index, block, or preserve content and accounts when we believe doing so is necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, respond to rights reports, prevent abuse, or protect the service.
8. Subscriptions, purchases, and refunds
Paid Podernize features may be offered through auto-renewable subscriptions or other in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by the app store account used to buy them, such as Apple App Store, and may be supported by RevenueCat for entitlement management.
Store billing terms, renewal controls, cancellation flows, taxes, trials, and refund rules apply to app-store purchases. You can cancel or manage subscriptions through your app store account. Deleting your Podernize account does not automatically cancel an active app-store subscription.
9. Third-party services
Podernize depends on third-party services for hosting, authentication, storage, AI processing, audio generation, payments, analytics, attribution, crash reporting, and app distribution. These providers may include Firebase, Google Cloud, Apple and supported third-party sign-in, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Sentry, AppsFlyer, and similar vendors used to operate the service.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. Podernize is not responsible for third-party services, app-store decisions, device settings, network providers, or content outside our control.
10. Podernize intellectual property
Podernize, including its name, logo, design, software, workflows, generated interfaces, and service features, is owned by Podernize or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of Podernize intellectual property.
Subject to these Terms, Podernize grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app and public web pages for their intended purpose.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and retain information. By using Podernize, you acknowledge that Podernize processes information as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Podernize at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to accounts, content, links, subscriptions features, or the service if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users, caused legal exposure, or used Podernize in a way that harms the service.
Account deletion requests can be made in the app where available or through support. Some records may be retained when required for security, legal, billing, abuse-prevention, or backup purposes.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Podernize is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Podernize disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Podernize will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost content, service interruption, generated output, or third-party conduct.
14. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court or regulator finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the last-updated date and may provide additional notice in the app, on the website, or by other reasonable means.
